Re-CCN Package - Re-Assessment Domestic Core & Appliances
Training and assessment for candidates seeking to renew the Domestic Core Natural Gas Safety qualification, CCN1 and appliances.
This Gas Safety Assessment is designed to test the gas safety competence of an operative in core domestic gas work by practical and knowledge and understanding assessment.
This Gas Safety Assessment comprises of 15 Core Competences:
- The Gas Safety Legislation
- Gas Emergency Actions and Procedures
- Characteristics of Combustion
- Ventilation
- Installation of Pipework and Fittings
- Tightness Testing and Purging of Domestic Sized NG Installations
- Checking and/or Setting Meter Regulators
- Identification of Unsafe Situations and the Use of Emergency Notices and Warning Labels
- The Operation of and Positioning of Emergency Isolation Controls and Valves
- Checking and Setting of Appliance Burner Pressures and Gas Rates
- The Operation and Checking of Appliance Gas Safety Devices and Controls
- Flueing Standards
- Flue Testing
- Installation of Open, Balanced and Fan Assisted Flue Assemblies
- Re-establish Existing Gas Supply and Relight Appliances
To work with natural gas in a domestic environment, candidates must hold CCN1 as their core qualification, and then achieve qualifications in the various appliances, Cookers, Fires, Central Heating etc.
The course is offered as a package to include renewal of Core and up to 4 Appliances, if already held.
Candidate wishing to add appliances for a first time will be charged accordingly.

Entry Qualification
Category 1 Candidates experienced Gas Engineers who wish to renew their CCN1 qualification, issued either within or outside of the UK

- Training: 2 Days
- Assessment: 2 Days
Note:
Re-Assessment Domestic Core + Appliances costs cover up to 4 Appliances. If further appliances are to be renewed, a charge of £ 80 per appliance will be incurred.
Additional appliances (not previously held) will be charged at £ 145 each.
Registration Fees: In some instances registration fees will not be included.
Current rates: Domestic £65, Non- Domestic £85, Unvented Hot Water £40, LPG £45, OFTEC £45
All prices are subject to Vat @ 20 %
