This Gas Safety Assessment is designed to test the gas safety competence of an operative in the work of testing and purging commercial installation pipework by practical and knowledge and understanding assessment.

Range of qualification TPCP1 - Testing and Purging of all sizes of pipework commencing downstream of the meters, control valve to the position of usage or the termination of the installation pipework and for installations without meter will apply to all pipework downstream of the emergency control valve.

Range of qualification TPCP1A - Testing and direct purging of pipework (or sections of pipework) downstream of a primary meter control valve having:-

  • a volume not exceeding 1m3 including any meter and any allowance for fittings
  • an operating pressure not exceeding 21mbar (nominal) at the outlet of the primary meter regulator
  • a diameter not exceeding 150 mm
  • the operating pressure at the inlet of the primary meter regulator does not exceed 75 mbar

NB These procedures can also be used for pipework exceeding 28 mm diameter on domestic premises

  • Training:    2 Days
  • Assessment:    1 Day

Note:

Re-Assessment Domestic Core + Appliances costs cover up to 4 Appliances. If further appliances are to be renewed, a charge of £ 80 per appliance will be incurred.

Additional appliances (not previously held) will be charged at £ 145 each.

Registration Fees: In some instances registration fees will not be included.

All prices are subject to Vat @ 20 %
